“Vector” is a 2D animation project made in November of 2016, and was made entirely using After Effects. The goal of “Vector” was to explore the emotive qualities that just geometric shapes can have, as we start with a simple square that morphs through different forms of geometry, all in sync with the accompanying music.

It depicts a city progressing through time: moving from left to right, depicting past, present, and future, or life, destruction, and regrowth. “Decay” started as a pen and pencil illustration, which was then brought into Illustrator and digitally painted in Photoshop.
