Created in March of 2016, this conceptual logo set was more for a hockey club hailing from Buffalo, New York, the Stampede. This logo set drew tremendous inspiration from classic hockey logos, such as the two-color scheming along the lines of the Detroit Red Wings with the classic roundel logo of the original Chicago Blackhawks. The secondary mark represents both New York and Buffalo pride, with the Buffalo city flag enclosed inside the New York state lines, while the wordmark imposes a strong, bold feeling.
